Our programming provides the stability of a routine while maximizing individuality; in Daughters of Miriam
Resorts at Daughters of Miriam is a memory care assisted living community, located on the Beachwood campus and is connected to the Daughters of Miriam building.
We offer compassionate and personalized care for individuals with dementia in a loving and safe environment. We help make this stage of life gentler and easier for residents and their families.
Our programming provides the stability of a routine while maximizing individuality. Our focus is on maximizing strengths while minimizing challenges associated with memory loss.
Each delicious Kosher breakfast, lunch and dinner provides more than food. Meals are experiences designed with our residents’ needs and desires in mind. For breakfast, Slow Rise Dining provides a leisurely opportunity to begin the day with a flexible time frame. Residents may even join in the kitchen and prepare food alongside trained staff. For lunch and dinner, Russian-style dining ensures an easy, dignified and pleasant experience through specially designed sequential course selection. Staff members bring out each of several choices on platters at the times they are to be served so that residents have a timely opportunity to see the dishes, experience the aromas and make their own choices. With all meals, attention is given to special diets including low sodium needs.
There is also a private dining room for family gatherings and each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette including a refrigerator and microwave with safety features.
Thanks to funds raised through the Menorah Park Foundation’s annual Shining Star CLE fundraiser, The Willensky Residence was able to purchase an iN2L (It’s Never 2 Late) technology system which plays a critical part of the resident’s daily lives. This interactive system creates possibilities, enjoyment, and connections while its massive library promotes wellness, empowerment, and engagement regardless of physical or cognitive ability.
A simple press of a button on iN2L’s large 60” touch screen monitor can launch hundreds of applications for activities that facilitate social interaction, cognitive and physical exercise and therapy, education, reminiscing, areas of interest, games, puzzles, memory care engagement and much more. The iN2L system is used for both group engagement and individual experiences and enables our residents to share conversations, experiences, learning, and fun with each other, their caregivers and family members.

Our goal is to help our clients be as independent as they want to be. For some that may mean taking advantage of our many services to erase many of life’s challenges so you can have peace of mind and enjoy each day. For others, it may mean taking on old or new challenges and regaining that sense of control and energy that comes from charting your course in the world. For most of us, we fall somewhere in between. Our skilled staff will help you find your way as you make this your new home.
Our campus includes many amenities to help sustain independence and growth from housekeeping and dining services to lifelong learning and social experiences. We help you tap into any resources you need to maintain control of your health and well-being and include several options within our residences so you can maintain your lifestyle.
We know independence is defined differently for each individual and we find ways to help each person maximize whatever strengths exist, while helping to overcome any physical or memory issues.
King David offers a variety of room types including private rooms, shared rooms, and suites. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, emergency call system, and other amenities to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents.
We understand the important role that pets play in the lives of our residents. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in our skilled nursing facilities. However, pets are allowed in our assisted and independent living residences, subject to certain restrictions and guidelines.

The purpose of the Social Life Template™ is to ensure that residents of Helen’s Place are engaged in life, have a feeling of belonging to a community, have a sense of purpose, have access to meaningful activity and social roles, and can have a sense of control and independence.
Using the concepts and practices researched by Dr. Cameron Camp, an internationally recognized expert on memory care, the staff of Helen’s Place is trained to develop a sense of community and relationships that may have been lost because of cognitive impairment. A collaborative effort between Dr. Camp and Stone Gardens Assisted Living staff led to the creation of the Social Life Template™.
Staff members are viewed as facilitators and have been trained to create resident-led task forces to formulate life enrichment programs, such as a welcoming committee, visitor center, social action programs, social events and a governance council. For example, resident groups will select group outing destinations and activities or invite entertainers, lecturers, and other professionals to give presentations or performances. These facilitated programs are imbedded in a daily routine to ensure a reassuring and structured environment.
Here are some examples of how professional staff will facilitate our approach at the highest standards:
